Just a quick note. If you would, please see on the right side bar that I have added a new widget called FOLLOWERS. It would be a blessing if you would use it. By doing so, we know that you are praying for us as we continue to serve Jesus Christ up here in the Northland of Wisconsin.

One more thing. We would sure be blessed if you would drop us a message, email or call to let us know that you are coming over Saturday afternoon, any Saturday, for dinner and for a time of fellowship.

We pray for all of you and hope to hear from you.

I am Second

I would like to share with you the following web site called, "I AM SECOND". I have been going through this site today and would like your opinion on it.

If you go to the right side of this page and click on I AM SECOND, and watch it and pray about it, I would like to know what your feelings are on it.

When we realize that Jesus is first and we are second, then we are ready to learn of Him. Some of the testimonies on the site remind me of days that we have had some real deep....meaningful times sharing with one another some of the deepest hurts in our life. After, we were able to pray and encourage one another with the Love of Jesus Christ.

Patti and I went to Ashland today to do some shopping and took some pictures of the beautiful scenery here in Northern Wisconsin. You can see them by going to the right and clicking on our photo album.

At the same time, we would like to invite you to come for fellowship and dinner at our place on Saturday afternoon, say about 3pm or so.

Post a comment and let us know your coming.

Fellowships are every Saturday starting at 3pm.

Please bring your own meat and we will barbaque it on our grill. Ladies, you can also bring a dish to pass. That would be great!!

Around 5, I would like to start the Bible Study/Prayer time which will last about one hour.

Please come as a family and feel free to stay as long as you would like for fellowship after the Bible Study as this is when true friendships are built and when we can dig deeper into the Word.

Answers to your prayers

I want to personally thank all of you who were praying for James Nyika, his 2 year old boy Jeff and James' family. James took Jeff from Narus Sudan to Eldoret Kenya because of complications from Malaria.

I am happy to tell you that Jeff is now fine and James and Jeff are now back with Jane, and his two daughters Fiona and Blessing.

Again, thank you very much and we are so blessed to be able to take our concerns to such an Almighty God in prayer, knowing that nothing is to hard for Him.

Thank you Jesus Christ for making your self known to us.

Prayer request from Sudan

-----Original Message-----From: James Nyika [mailto:jamesandjanenyika@gmail.com] Sent: Sunday, November 30, 2008 11:30 AMTo: Rob Douglass; jvh3641@gmail.com; charlie & Patti beyersdorf; liveongod@gmail.com; ccvictorville@yahoo.comSubject: Greetings

Hi to everybody,

I and Jeff will be traveling to Eldoret for further Medical consultation tomorrow. Jeff all this time have been on and off with fever. My wife and I have resolved to take him to Eldoret.
First I will see the doctor who operated on him for his Hernia. and then wait for his advise. I know this is a very difficult time for us as a family. I have just started a Bible Study program among the two community and now the Devil is fighting very hard to discourage the people who gathered to listen the word of God. Please Pray.

Pray that we shall have enough money to travel to Eldoret and pray also that we shall not stay there for a long time. As soon as Jeff received the attention of the Doctor we are coming back right away. We want to be together on the Christmas day.
It is not easy for a Man to take care of a child but we have no option as Jane has baby Blessing with her and cannot travel with Jeff because that will be too much for her. So pray for me that I and Jeff will have a good time and he will not trouble me during the night because he sometime call for his mother at night.

But during the day he have no problems as long as there is Soda. What he can say is only (Daddy Thoda).

Request for prayers

Please Pray for our safe Journey
Please Pray to Jane as she will be left behind for a mind of piece
Please Pray for the Doctor who will attain to jeff.

Thanks
James and Jane

This is an email I just recieved from James. I ask you, can you help financially for this time in their lives? If so please go to SGWM and donate on line. And Please,...let me know you did so I can get the money to James asap.

Thank you so very much and lets pray together for the Nyika family and for each other.

Charlie

Now for the ladies.

Patti has been asked to start a womens Bible Study at Our Saviors Free Lutheran Church in Mason. They are meeting on Wendsday afternoons at 1:30 pm. The book they are going through is titled "Beautiful in God's Eyes" by Elizabeth George.

This coming Wendsday the 19th is their second meeting so you can still join this very special time of study and fellowship.

The ladies would love for all of you to come and build some special relationships while going through this book.

Please pray for the Deer Hunting season here in the Northwoods which starts Saturday the 22nd of November. Pray for the saftey of all the hunters as they go out to have that very special time with dads, sons, daughters, grandpas and mas, etc. This is a very special time of family bonding.

This reminds me, Saturday the 22nd, Our Saviors Free Lutheran Church is having a "Hunters Stew" for all you hunters and your family and friends. (We are asking for a donation.) It will be at the church from 4:30 - 7:30 pm. So bring everyone to enjoy the food, fellowship, and "stories" of the days hunt.

Why do we go through the Bible chapter by chapter?

This month of June will be a very interesting study at Calvary Chapel Kampala of Uganda, Africa. Patti and I stayed with Brian and his wife Lynne in Kampla Uganda for 6 weeks back in 05. ..........Pastor Brian Kelly is teaching, Why do we go through the Bible Chapter by Chapter?....and other principles that Patti and I along with Calvary Chapel believe in very strongly.

I hope that you will have a better understanding of what we want to share here, in Ashland and Bayfield counties. May Jesus Christ be glorified!

If you click on the this link Messages and go to the bottom of the page, you will find messages titled At Calvary 1 of 5, 2 of 5 etc. you can begin to listen to this series of messages.

INTRODUCING OURSELVES TO YOU.

Hi and thank you for checking us out here in Marengo Wisconsin.

We have just started working on this site so we are asking you to have patience with it untill we get it all set up.

There is enough information here to get you started though. You can come here to see the latest information on when, where and if we're meeting any given day. We are trying hard to meet every Saturday from 3 till the cows come home. We have been known to still be fellowshipping at 11pm. You can leave anytime you want though. Just come as you are, bring your kids and stay as long as you want.

Actully our schedule looks something like this. You can come anytime after 3pm on Saturday. We will have pot luck around 4pm and start our bible study around 5. With prayer, and the study, we should be done around 6 or so. Afterwards, you can stay as long as you would like.

If you need directions to our place, you can email us for them.

We would like to leave you with this.
