If you could please pray for Grandpa Doug....we would appreciate it so much.
Had a crazy 48 hours in Duluth after learning that Doug's cancer has now spread to his brain. The doctors have him on medication to bring down the swelling on his brain...and are hoping that radio laser surgery can be done in Duluth before this next week is over.
Thanks for not only praying for Doug and Carol, but for keeping Wes, myself, and our children in your prayers...this has been so hard on the kids watching Grandpa get sicker every day.
You'll have to check out my photos for project 365 on my blog....I woke up feeling sort of 'dreadful' on Saturday morning in Duluth...but when I looked out the window and saw the sunrise, I felt God was here with us at 'my lake' and would hold us up whatever the day would bring! Only one word can describe how I felt....awesome!
Thank you for all of your love, prayers, support, and words of encouragement...it means more to us than words can even express!

Patti and I lift up Doug to the living God, Jesus Christ. We pray and believe that He will minister to your family today. We pray for Dougs relationship with our Lord and Savior. Lord, we have seen and heard of the prayers that You have heard from his grandchildren and ask you to minister to their hearts. May they come to know You in a deep and meaningful way. A new way. I pray that they can be the very expression of your Love and Compassion to everyone that is touched by Doug in the days to come.
Give them Peace Lord and let them know beyond a doubt, that You love them and care for their every need.
May they Praise You and bring Glory to Your Name, Jesus Christ.
